Our Philosophy
Sankira is built for meaningful discourse, not viral content. We prioritize substance over engagement, quality over quantity, and thoughtful discussion over quick reactions.
Before You Post
Ask yourself: Does this contribute to meaningful discussion? Is this well-thought-out? Would I want to read this?
Guidelines
Encouraged
- Original analysis and well-researched content
- Posts that invite multiple viewpoints
- Constructive disagreement with evidence
- Helpful guides and explanations
Discouraged
- Low-effort posts without context or commentary
- Clickbait and sensationalism
- Repetitive content without new insights
Content Types
- Article posts: At least 3-4 paragraphs with clear structure and evidence
- Link posts: Always add commentary explaining why it matters
- Media posts: Include context, source attribution, and analysis
Commercial and Business Content
What's Allowed:
Business-related posts are welcome when they add genuine value to discussions. Be transparent about your business relationships:
- Disclose when promoting your own products or services (e.g., "I built this", "I work for X").
- Disclose affiliate links and referral codes.
- Follow Space-specific rules about commercial content.
What's Not Allowed:
Don't post:
- The same promotional content across multiple Spaces or repeatedly in the same Space.
- Purely promotional content with no educational value or discussion merit.
- Commercial content without disclosing your relationship to what you're promoting.
- Off-topic commercial content that's irrelevant to the Space.
- Content with deceptive practices to boost visibility.
Bot Accounts and Automation
Automated posting isn't allowed without prior approval. To request approval, use the feedback option in your profile menu and describe your use case. We typically respond within 3-5 business days.
Requirements for Approved Bots:
If approved, you must:
- Identify your account as a bot: Your profile must clearly state that it's a bot account and explain its purpose.
- Respect rate limits and posting frequency restrictions.
- Meet the same quality and relevance standards as human-posted content.
- Follow Space rules and moderator guidelines.
- Not manipulate votes, engagement metrics, or artificially inflate visibility.
- Understand we can revoke approval at any time.
Quality Standards
We Look For
- Substantive ideas with supporting reasoning
- Clear writing and proper formatting
- Original perspectives
- Content that invites discussion
Avoid
- Rushed content without thought
- Pure controversy designed for reactions
- Bad faith arguments
- Personal attacks
Content Visibility
Visibility depends on quality signals: depth of analysis, thoughtful engagement, and Space relevance.
Space-Specific Rules
Each Space may have additional guidelines. Always check the Space rules before posting to ensure your content fits the Space's focus.
Copyright and Attribution
Post your own original content or properly attribute others. You can quote copyrighted work with brief excerpts and commentary, but link to full articles instead of copying them. Always credit creators.
Enforcement
Violations may result in reduced visibility, content removal, warnings, posting restrictions, or account suspension depending on severity. We remove content that violates copyright, contains spam, harasses users, promotes illegal activity, or uses unauthorized automation.
